Earth Week has made DryPodsOnline reconsider some of our packing options. We have always been an environmentally friendly company trying to leave the smallest carbon footprint possible but after talking with some there are still things we can do. Recycling is one of the ways we can accomplish our green goal.  This means all packaging material and outer boxes that come into our warehouse will be reused for out going packages and packing material.   Please rest easy that all materials will be in good shape and 100% usable to protect our shipments. So in some cases you may see writing on the outside of your box or a mixture of packing materials ranging from peanuts to paper but rest assured we are trying our best to reuse and recycle and save.  Those boxes that cannot go back out on the road will be placed in the recycling bin to a trip to the local center.

Keeping the Green Spirit  of Earth Day we should spotlight our AquaPac line of products.  This manufacturer has dedicated his business to being environmentally friendly to the extreme of altering their manufacturing and packing in an effort to leave a smaller carbon foot print.   This company has done everything from utilizing green energy sources, build a compost heap at the office to using no PVC in their materials when building their waterproof iPod Cases.  Even their packaging is greener than most which displays their product on a simple cardboard sheet.



Remember to do your part and think about what small steps you can take to becoming a more Earth friendly person.  Reduce your Carbon Footprint. Here are some simple suggestions that can immediately impact your Green Status:

1. Recycle paper, plastics and metals - Check to see if your town will take all 3 of these substances.  Yes the redemption price on a can of soda is attractive but  the other materials are just as precious to our environment
2. Use environmentally friendly soaps for washing clothes and other items in your household
3. Car Pool - Save wear and tear on your car and save money on gas.
   
4. Purchase cloth reusable bags for your runs to the grocery store.  No more paper or plastic as the reusable bag will save tons of space in our land fills.
