The EGO Ice waterproof speaker system is one of the hottest items at DryPodsOnline.   This waterproof speaker system and housing is designed to protect your iPod and blast your music everywhere.  The 100% waterproof housing will keep your iPod safe poolside, at the beach or in the shower.   The hard polycarbonate case is designed with silicone cushions to protect against impact.  The case floats in water so it can be brought directly into the pool or hot tub for your listening pleasure.    All of the controls are fully accessible while the iPod is in the case so selecting your music or video is as quick as a snap.   These quick tips can be used to set up any EGO product - EGO, EGO ICE, and EGO IceBar.

Quick Set Up Tips:

1.)    Set your iPod to a desired volume.  We recommend approximately 85 – 90% of full volume for maximum sound.

2.)    If you like more bass in your music you can select “Bass Booster” setting in your iPod’s equalizer settings.   Much of the sound equalizer settings are personal preference so you may want to experiment which is best for your listening pleasure.

3.)    Turn the “Sound Check” feature to “On” as this will allow all music to be played at the same relative volume.   

4.)    Select the proper iPod spacer and remember to check the iPod fit chart to make sure your iPod is compatible with the EGO ICE.  (Remember there are 2 versions of this speaker system the original EGO is no compatible with newer iPods and has been discontinued)

5.)    Close the locking clasp completely and yes we always recommend double checking this step before submersion

6.)    Power up your new speaker system.   I always opt to replace the batteries with high quality brand name batteries.  Some have even opted to NiMH rechargeable batteries which are better for the environment and a bit easier on the pocket.

7.)    If your blue power light flickers or your sound begins to distort replace the batteries.
